A zipper is a connector that relies on continuous rows of fasteners to make objects merge or separate. It is now widely used in clothing, bags, tents, etc.
Zipper is divided into materials:
1. Nylon zipper(invisible zipper,back waterproof zipper, braided zipper, etc).

3. Metal zipper: aluminum zipper, brass zipper
Zipper is divided into structure: closed ended zipper, open ended zipper, double zipper.
The quality of the zipper focuses on the following two points. One is the overall quality of zipper products, such as the qualified rate of the whole batch of products or the stability of zipper quality in a quite long period of time. The other refers to the specific zipper quality, such as the physical properties and technical parameters of zippers. The former reflects the management level of the zipper manufacturer, while the latter shows the manufacturing level, both of which are essential standards to measure the overall quality level of a factory.
The Quality Standards of Zippers
The quality standards of zippers are composed of GB/T18746-2002 zipper terminologies (mainly specify the definition, form, type, size and specification of zipper components, and the physical property of zippers) and QB/T2171 ~2173- 2001 zipper standards (specify the standards for metal zippers, plastic zippers and nylon zippers)
In Chinese standards, there are 12 indexes for metal zippers and plastic zippers, and 10 indexes for nylon zippers because nylon zipper teeth are continuous.
4 indexes for slider: slider and puller pull-off strength, resistance to twist of puller and slider, slider deflection strength, holding strength of slider lock
1 index for tape: chain crosswise, single element slippage strength (metal zipper and plastic zipper)
2 comprehensive indexes for zipper: tap pull-off strength, reciprocation test (double)
